I love food and my aim is to provide children with a healthy, balanced and tasty diet using products which are in season. Here are some examples of freshly prepared food which I will provide for the children in my care.

 

Dips

  • Fromage Frais & Fresh Herbs

  • Humous

  • Guacamole and Philadelphia

Which are served with sticks of cucumber, carrot, red pepper, pita bread, baguette, bread sticks, tortillas or whole meal bread.

 

Soups & Salads                                         

  • Bacon and pea soup

  • Vegetable or tomato soup

  • Chicken bouillon

  • Mozzarella, tomato salad with pesto & ciabatta

  • Tomato and feta salad

  • Tuna and rice salad

 

Meat/Fish & Eggs

  • Beef burgers, sweet potato chips and salad

  • Fishcake with carrots & peas

  • Pasta in a cheese or tomato sauce

  • Toad in the hole

  • Breaded chicken vegetables and chips

  • Spanish Omelette with herbs and parmesan

 

Desserts                                                  

  • Fresh fruit

  • Rice pudding

  • Fruit

  • Yoghurt

  • Homemade cake & biscuits

 

Snacks

  • Biscuits

  • Fresh & dried fruits

  • Dips, as mentioned above

  • Rice cakes

On occasions the afternoon snack may include a piece of chocolate

 

Please let me know if there is any food you do not want to be given to your child.

Children have access to water at all times and will be offered milk with meals or juice drinks with your permission. 

Meal times (these times are approximate)

Morning snack – 10.30AM

Lunch – 12.30PM

Afternoon snack – 3.00PM

Dinner – 5.00  or 5:30PM

Birthdays

 

We love to celebrate the children's birthdays as a group and love throwing them a little party. On these occasions we will have party food and birthday cake!
